About BioGaia
What we do
BioGaia is a Swedish biotechnology company that develops and sells probiotic products and solutions that support people’s health.
Our products are based on Lactobacillus reuteri (L. reuteri). This is a “good” and friendly bacterium – a probiotic – that helps battle the “bad” micro-organisms in the digestive tract.

We have more than 20 years’ experience of the field. Besides our in-house experts, we also work with a global network of leading independent researchers and specialists.
Where we are
Our corporate and administrative operations as well as our sales and marketing functions are located to Stockholm.
Product development, production coordination and quality control take place in Lund. We also do research, quality control and product development in our laboratory in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The BioGaia –B share is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
