What we do

We are an innovative Swedish biotechnology company, world leader in probiotics, that develops and sells probiotic products and solutions that promote people’s health.

Our products combine the well researched probiotic bacteria Lactobacillus reuteri (L. reuteri) and top of the line engineering to develop one of a kind delivery systems that match consumer needs. L. reuteri is a “good” and friendly bacterium that helps battle the “bad” micro-organisms in the digestive tract improving the host's health.

Where we are

Our corporate and administrative operations as well as our sales and marketing functions are located in Stockholm. 

Product development, production and logistics coordination and quality control takes place in Lund. We also do research, quality control and product development in our laboratory in the research triangle of North Carolina: Raleigh,

BioGaia has an own sales office in Hiroshima, Japan and a representation office in New York. 

The BioGaia –B share is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
