Probiotic ORS

BioGaia Probiotic oral rehydration solution (ORS) is a convenient way to reduce the duration of illness in babies and children with acute diarrhoea, caused by rotavirus or other pathogenic microorganisms. The solution contains L. reuteri Protectis and zinc.

Studies have shown that supplementation with zinc reduces the duration of acute diarrhoea. WHO and UNICEF therefore recommend the use of zinc in oral rehydration for children.
