L. reuteri on Facebook

During the summer there have been new launches of BioGaia Facebook pages. Apart from the official BioGaia Facebook page there is now a BioGaia Facebook page in Portuguese administered by BioGaia's partner Ferring Portugal and a BioGaia Facebook page in German administrated by BioGaia's partner Infectopharm. Further BioGaia's partner Sunstar has launched a Facebook page for BioGaia ProDentis, BioGaia's product for oral health.

Coming events

 

During the autumn BioGaia will participate at two medical congresses. 18-20 October the International Congress of Tropical Paedriatrics, ICTP, will take place in Bangkok, Thailand. BioGaia will exhibit and also host a satellite symposium "Advances in Paediatric Health: The Potential of Probiotics". Dr Bee Wah, Department of Paedriatrics, University of Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Singapore and Dr Flavia Indrio, Department of Paedriatrics, University of Bari, Italy, will speak during the symposium and it will be chaired by Prof. Pakit Vichyanond, Department of Paedriatrics, Faculty of Medicine Sirirai Hospital, Mahidol University Bangkok, Thailand.

The 19th meting of the United European Gastroenterology Week, UEGW, will take place 22-26 October in Stockholm, Sweden. The theme of the UEGW initiative, Today's science; tomorrow's medicine, will be "The role of gut bacteria in chronic GI diseases". BioGaia will participate with a stand at the exhibition.

Launch in Guatemala

 

BioGaia's drops and tablets were launched in Guatemala during the spring. BioGaia's partner AGEFINSA arranged a special symposium where

Dr Indrio presented "The clinical evidence behind L. reuteri" and BioGaia's products to some 200 doctors in connection to the Miami Children's Hospital Conference.

 

 

 

 

BioGaia workshop
During the autumn BioGaia arranges two workshop. The European workshop took place in Skanör, Sweden, 5-7 September and the Asia-Pacific workshop will take place in Bangkok,Thailand 18-20 October.


New launches of BioGaia ProDentis and BioGaia ProTectis 


BioGaia ProDentis is now launched in several new countries. Ewopharma has launched BioGaia ProTectis drops in Bulgaia and Slovakia. Delta Medical has launched the BioGaia ProTectis ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) in Ukraine.
