BioGaia Academy 2011

Believe it or not but it is now more than 18 months since we had our latest BioGaia Academy. At that time we met on our home turf in Stockholm and the programme focused mainly on our tablets and on marketing issues.This time we will meet just outside Madrid on April 6-8, 2011 and I hope that you will have the possibility to participate in this event. Besides bringing together our partners from all over the world for intensive networking, it will deal with strategic issues like future probiotic opportunities and the regulatory environment. In addition, we will also look at successful partner cases that we believe are of general interest.

About the venue Parador de Alcalá de Henares
The historical university city of Alcalá de Henares was by UNESCO declared a World Heritage Site in 1998. It is located only 26 km from Madrid and 20 km from Barajas International Airport.

The Parador of Alcalá de Henares opened in 2009 and occupies a magnificent 17th century building, the ancient Dominican Collegiate-Convent of Santo Tomas de Aquino. The entire complex has been restored in a modern way, although some parts preserve the ancient look. BioGaia will pay for your accommodation at Parador de Alcalá de Henares, including all meals. Your own expenses will be the cost of travel, additional hotel costs such as minibar, and extra hotel nights if you wish to extend the visit before or after the symposium.
